Continental TKC80's, would anyone else put them on their VFR? I enjoy some mild off roading with mine, was looking for some opinions on it.

Go for it. Sorta like the Crossrunner. (Do you folks in Canada get the Crossrunner?) The only concern I would have is whether or not the knobs will fit under the front fender. If you do it, report back. I am curious.

No crossrunner here. The knobs should fit as the tires have the same size #'s as the vfr currently uses.

Stock tires will do as much off-roading as the VFR is intended to do. Gravel and/or dirt roads are fine. IMO if you going offroad enough to need that kind of traction, you're very likely to drag the belly pan and screw up the fairing bits. JMO of course.

You can't make a sow's ear out of a silk purse.

Last time I took my bike down a gravel road it was fishtailing everywhere (v45 sabre) so I thought these would be a huge improvement.

I've been on several gravel roads, a couple not by choice, and the VFR has always behaved admirably. I've stayed out of the very deep and loose gravel stuff though.

Knobby tires on a VFR is wholesale nonsense.
