Hello all, have been keeping an eye peeled for a gen 5 over the last few years, hoping for a 01. Could not pass this 98 up, a solid nine out of ten. Stock. 19k. With Corbin saddle,Beetle bags,Helix, tank bra, aftermarket windscreen. Really in great condition, even under the tupperware it looks clean, no leaks etc.
Finally got the famous V-4. 012.JPG

Have owned several V twins, (Duc MG only), opposed twins, singles, and one inline 1100, my first V -4.

Congrats! The bike looks great. I like the look of the beetle bags. Keeping an eye out for a pair myself for my 4th gen.

    +1.

Now go and check your R/R before you become a member of the "I own a VFR and the R/R fried my connections and battery" club. Currently there are only about 8000 members, but membership is open and growing on a daily basis.

thx yes the bike is in great condition, hope it stays that way. Dunno if gen 5 B bags fit a gen 4 but mine are on Ebay as of yesterday, I prefer soft luggage.

Snap a pic of the RR setup and for sure people here could tell you if its upgraded. Takes about 5 minutes to unscrew and slide the tail back.
