High mileage Gen6?

What kind of life can be expected without major repairs on a Gen6? Anyone racked up over 50,000miles on one? I'm looking at a 2003 with just that, hence the question!

going for 1,000,000 miles

Just went over 42k on mine. So far so good. The valves haven't even needed adjustment yet.

No plans to trade until something better comes along.

 

well cared for, 100K shouldn't be an issue
will greatly affect the resale value, of course

 

Not sure about the longevity, hope mine makes it that far, but I am jealous about the previous owner, wow, they are lucky to get to ride so much that they clocked 50k, in4 years!
