    Dear All,

I went ahead with Metzeler Z8 Roadtec Interact. The tire was installed today, it was made in Germany in week 39 of 2011--I guess about a year ago.

I went for a short ride to get the tire ready, about 100 miles on beautiful roads on a sunny day here in Virginia. The tire feels great, and so did the Z6 as well. And the bike! What an amazing bike! I cannot say enough about these bikes, there are so well balanced and how they fly.

I will keep you posted and hopefully I will get more than 4,100 miles out of this tire.

    Cheers,

    CElias

Have fun and good luck. German made tire ? German products are allways okay. But how do you know it's German ? Is there somekind of code on the tire ?

    Dear Eric and all,

No, I am just trusting the "Made in Germany" brand at face value. We will see in about 4,000 how durable this tire is.

    Cheers,
