I have a 1985 VF700S. The left fork has a significant leak from the dust cover so I'd like the change both seals and fill it with new oil. Can anyone give me step by step directions for this? Do I need a motorcycle jack? Thanks.

You should really get a manual if you don't have one yet. Unless someone can send you one.because you are going to want some torque listings and fluid amounts. The work itself is fairly easy. But you will need a seal driver or you can make one.

2" dia pvc pipe cut to length works fine for me as a seal driver.
