Last fall I bought a cbr250, and put about 8k miles on it. The local powerstore rec'd an 07 candy red vfr with 3500 miles.

The switch has gone smoothly. The little cbr was rather similar to the vfr in terms of ride position. The thing I love about the vfr is how silky smooth the engine feels, and the suspension is way more appropriate for my size 6' 220#. The cbr suspension took a lot of grief. I feel more confident on the vfr.

I am a honda fan. Always driven one, and recently had an 09 fit, 06 s2k, and currently have the 08 mugen civic. Vtec is fun, so this 6th gen vfr caught my interest despite the mixed reviews of people's tastes for the implementation. I couldn't be happier. The bike is so gorgeous. The previous owner took good care of it. A zero gravity windscreen, and throttlemeister are the only changes, and i got the oem parts if ever I desire or need.

Main use is commuting between Troy and Columbus Ohio, so lots of time on i-70. Used to WOT the cbr, and it would do just fine. It was a little light, and the wind would affect performance. The vfr though is just tits, and just feels like it will be better suited for my commute.

    So anyway, greetings.

Congrats on your VFR, same model I have. I also have a 2002 S2000 and am a big Honda fan.

Here is a pic of me on the cbr250r, and a phone shot of the VFR in the Garage.

Congrats on aquiring the VFR and yes it fits us big guys, I almost bought a CBR1000RR before I got the '09 VFR but it was just too small for me without some modifications. The VFR does all things well!!!

Congratulations. I've owned my '07 for 6 years now and it is an awesome bike. If it hasn't already been done, the only thing you might want to consider is a Power Commander to resolve the low speed FI jerkiness. You'll know what I'm talking about when it happens.
