@duccmann, thanks for the advice. I've been browsing CL, but I haven't posted anything yet. @REEK, thanks for letting me know about Cycle World. I've seen it via Google, but I've never been there. I'll be looking for a place to get it inspected soon, so I have an excuse to go. The bike is now sitting outside my house w/ the cover on, happy as a clam. I ordered the cover yesterday for $72 from RevZilla, and it arrived at my house today, free shipping. RZ kicks so much ass. I'm hoping to log a bazillion miles in the coming months, and looking forward to every inch!

Take the time, and make the effort to find a way to get that ole bitch in the casa. If I was able to help my brother get a sofa and love seat up three flights of narrow stairs in his downtown apt (most HORRIBLE move ever), you can find a way to get that baby indoors. take off the mirrors, take off the bar-ends, slather her with crisco if it suits you. Trust me dude, I bet I could get that baby in your house undamaged. All you have to do it get it in there, and then it backout in 7-8 months. BELIEVE!!!!

I should have mentioned that I have a buddies garage available for "winter storage" about 75 miles away from my house. I plan on using said garage for 2 or 3 months, but didn't include that in this post because it isn't relevant to helping me keep my bike as nice as possible while parked outdoors.

I guess i did stretch the truth a bit when i said:

I should have said I don't have nightly garage access.

I would like to think that there is a member on here that lives near you and has some storage you could use. The bike doesn't demand that much space really. If you were closer, I would offer you may garage for the duration, in fact, if you want to bring it up here I will gladly watch over it during your absence.

The other option is a storage unit. I rented one when I lived in Wichita and had an apartment with only outdoor parking. It wasn't too expensive and the bike was clean and dry. I also slept at night which was difficult to put a price on.

I stayed in the Federal Hill area over the weekend and parked my bike on the street. While walking around the area, I saw two or three "Garage for Rent" signs. Maybe you can find one within walking distance where you can rent just enough space for your bike.
