Oh no, my man Stoner went down while qualifying at Indy, torn ligament in ankle, hope he can ride Sunday.

There were several that went down, they said the track was very slick.

Commentators said the traction control was not adjustable while riding and suspects they have it turned down

in order to gain corner exit speed. Perhaps they should dial in a bit more, eh.

Any update on his return for the race day? I have no idea why he lost control at that moment.
    Poor him and also Hayden.

Confirmed fracture and ligament damage to his ankle - pretty sure he's done for a bit :(

Just watched the practice session this morning. Brutal, plus a couple near misses.
    Race will be interesting.

Just see Stoner back on the track.
Hayden is sitting inside with his wrapped right arm.
Live now in Vietnam on ESPN.

That was some really crazy stuff. High Sides, hard, and unhappy landings galore. I was amazed that Hector Barbera survived his crash - helmet straight down & an compression fracture of 3 of his cervical vertebrae OUCH! :hurt: :faint: And Stoner finished 4th after that crash in qualifying??? He was on crutches before the race. :crutch: :jaw:

The little man (Pedrosa) is starting to come on strong. He may catch up to Lorenzo.

Was glad to be there, but after the first few minutes - was a pretty boring race to say the least! The A10's flying over before the show was awesome!

Damn that little clip toe posted was brutal. From what I heard there will be morecreplays of qualifying than the race.

Ya, thats why I'm not to privy about the whole US Grandprix, sure it would be great to get together with the buds and party and that would definitely be the hi-light of the trip--- but to tell ya the truth, I would rather make the trip just to see Motogp2-- out of all the AMA and WSB thats the bomb, the most exciting ,close racing now a days except for that Harley AMA class--thats up there with the excitement ---------------- JMO
