Extreme short notice ride! Sac -> tahoe -> sac

Hello all, in celebration of my last week in Northern California due to College I am taking an extreme short notice day long ride to Lake Tahoe and back! This is not a short trip, but I would love to have some company if anyone is interested in coming along, so be sure you have all day tomorrow (Saturday August 18th) to set aside to enjoy the world by two wheels! I will be leaving Elk Grove at 8:00 AM, heading to Jackson and from there taking Highway 88 from Jackson to Tahoe, into Nevada, and back through Highway 4. This is an extremely diverse trip, with weather conditions varying by up to 40 degrees between the valley and the mountains, and roads varying from fast sweepers through valleys to 1.5 lane twisty technical roads through the mountains. I have ridden this route before so I have some comfort in knowing where I am going, but have not ridden recently, so detours and changes in course may occur! CHeck with Toe cutter and Fred they are always ride but not sure about the heat ..............They might not like it.
