Help! 1986 VFR750FG Gear change Spindle needed

Hi All

It's been a while since I was last on the forum. I have finally got electrics sorted but to my horror now can't change gears. I removed the gear change assembly to find that one of the small spur gears broken in half. Must have happened when I had the crash some time ago. I've searched UK spares shops on the net with no luck. The 86 VFR was never officially released by Honda here in South Africa so Honda of no help at all in fact I found the guy from Honda Cape Town to be rather hostile. So if anyone can let me know of one I’d be most grateful. Honda will get one ex-Belgium but there price totally unaffordable at present.

I am pretty sure I can scrounge up a spair......not sure aboot the shipping. I will have to look into it.
