...howdy folks, i'm new to vfr world, as well as discussion boards...never really had a need to participate in one...until now...i'm restoring my 1990 VFR750F to showroom condition, and just haven't been able to find the right, and left rear fairings...Honda OEM part numbers are: 83601-MT4-671ZA, and 83700-MT4-671ZA...can anyone point me in the correct direction in locating these elusive #&*!@<'s...
Hi Noel. Welcome to the group. You might try ron ayers (ronayers.com) but if the parts are discontinued, then your hunt comes down to m/c salvage yards or someone parting one out on ebay. Hope you find your parts.
I just bought a new 2004 VFR still in the crate at my local honda dealer. I'm selling my 2004 Dl650 V-Strom. I really liked this bike but as some of you know that shiny red vfr with almost 100 HP was too pretty to pass up. I loved my v-strom and am going to miss it. Hum, maybe it won't sell. What can my wife say if I just can't sell it? The Vfr really likes the corners. I thought my V-Strom handled good and it does, but the vfer turtns in so quickly that I need to get used to the new qickness of the handling. I've already lowered the pegs. Bad back and knee and I'm going to raise the handle bars about a 1-1/2". Then as I can I want to put carbon slip ons to deepen the growl and add a power commander. I have noticed a little flat spot around 4500-5000 RPM. I've read that the power commander takes care of this. Anybody know of simple ways to get a few more ponys out of this v-four? The weather up here in the mountains in CO. is getting there and the road beckens me! So long and be safe. We are blessed to say that this nice of a bike sits in our garage. 50something
i may have lucked out with thurn motorsports in germany...they have some pretty cool single seat tail sections that look RC30 like...their web address is: http://www.thurn-motorsport.de/html/body_verkleidung-rc36.html
