Put a little LED love on the Miniceptor today. This is what happens when I get bored at work, and have lots of stuff and tools at my disposal.

The video really, REALLY does not show the light well. These lights are *very* bright, and very apparent. This was filmed with a Droid 3 in mid-day light, and you can clearly see all the lights, so I suppose that's saying something, at least.

And yes, before anyone says anything, I have a brand new front and rear tire, and even a new chain, sitting in my garage. They're all going on this weekend, so no nagging on my rear slick!

Enjoy. Feedback and constructive criticism is welcome, douchebaggery and jealous hate is at least amusing. :)

Bike with the braking light on. When I first fired this up, testing it, it really blinded the crap out of me. Actually hurt my eyes, so it's super bright. There's no excuse not to see me now. :)

Here's the video. Again, it really doesn't do justice to how good these look in real life:

I'd be happy to answer all questions, as well. :)

Mufflers look like Kawasaki Z1000 take-offs. And they look amazing!

KZ1000 is correct, good eye. I was a little scared to post up, thinking I might get flayed alive for using them.

But thanks for all the kind words. I am constantly tweaking and changing things. I have my eye on the exhaust chamber, next. I just need to figure out how to turn it into pretty piping.

Also, I am looking to get the mufflers power coated black. The best thing about them, was that they had never been used. Guy who bought his Kawi new in 06 had aftermarket exhaust put on at the dealer, and these just sat in storage. They have that new exhaust smell, and I love it. I also love the subtle change to the sound. It made the low RPM growl more crisp and defined, without making the bike any louder.

Nice deal I have used a lot of harley mufflers on different projects for the same reason cheap dealer take offs. I like them!

The rear LEDs look a little dim i would probably look for something stronger you want people to notice them.

They are a touch on the heavy side, which kinda saddened me. However, they aren't MUCH heavier than the stock ones, so I pretend not to have noticed...

    The sacrifices we make, hmm?
