Beautiful example with excellent mods, and he didn't even mention the fork brace !!

VF riders might consider this bike as a perfect step up, imo.:chaingun::crazy::cool:

I paid less for mine, with CBR wheel conversion, same RaceTech valves with Sonic Springs, Fox Twin-Clicker, Yosh full system, EBC rotors and clutch....

Seems to me he should be willing to go lower, maybe 23-2500.

Naaaaaaaaaaa it's still a down grade on brakes. Spent some time with a 87 from Japan (shipped over by owner) racing (literally) in the mtns of NC back in May. Now those models should have come here then it might be close. Had a modded front suspension from another bike and still couldn't run away. :hippie:

It sounds like you got the bike for free and just paid for the modifications. I think these motorcycles are going up in value. Look at how many people are asking $4500 or $6000. I don't know if they're getting that but if there's room in the garage and you're not desperate why not hold out? Remember when the average used motorcycle went for "a buck a C.C."? This aint that kind of bike.

They are only really worth what you want to pay for one.

Welcome to the world of free markets my friend. You could say the same thing about anything one might wish to buy.
