my vfr.jpg hi i had wanted a road bike for a long time as i have grown up on all different bikes but never had a road bike, after looking around on the net i had come across these vfrs and i loved them because well a v 4 and gear drivin cams so being a auto tech that seemed very solid for an engine, and i am already a honda fan . So it didnt take long actually and i had found one on our kijiji site here a guy needed to get rid of it so short i got it, and what good shape its in for 86 (note my newest vehicle is a 94  ) and i keep my things clean and serviced. i would though, like to custom some things on this bike just to make my own and performance but have it still reverse able to have original again if so desired in future (note i will probably not sell ) but i was thinking of the f2 rear wheel & front end changeover as well a ohlins or fox rear shock system an R/R upgrade some jetting, intake & exhaust work and maybe some internal work too but only maybe, its just an everyday ride. the exhaust i want to keep 2 out pipes but straight through performance pipes and raise them up kinda like the anniversary vfr (i just love it ) any way it took me a while to actually be a member on here but i just did it today lol hope to chat on some forums

You already have a pair of aftermarket cans on her, so ride her a bit before you decide to go louder.

    Welcome.

    Beautiful machine you've got there!

It's always nice to see one of those old '86's in such good shape.

Take good care of it and it will provide you with "miles of smiles."

Who left the back door open? Canadians are invading at will. Tabernak.

Welcome to the site. Nice ride there. But being in Stettler, you have some riding to do just to get to some roads to have a spirited ride. We have a few members from teh Calgary and Edmonton area, and other Alberta locals. We used to have a map feature here which made it easy to look up members closeby but that went by the way side a few years ago and they cannot apply it anymore.

I think there is an Edmonton Group you may be able to find using the search engine.

    Enjoy....the bike and the Forum
