Hi, I'm a newish owner of a 97 VFR750. Haven't had a chance to ride it yet as I'm still on a restricted license and the seat height is a wee bit high. First thing I have to do is find a spare seat and chop it down to it's bare minimum. Hopefully that should be enough to keep me upright at the lights....
Look up threads on flipping the shock/linkage mount triangles. That will lower the rear of the bike an inch (2.5 cm) or so. You'll probably want to lower the front an equal amount by raising the forks up in the triple clamps. With any new bike, we need pics to prove it's real! http://vfrworld.com/forums/mechanics-garage/37501-lust-lowering-triangles.html
Here she is I've got a spare seat from the wreckers and I'm going to cut that down first and change the suspension if its still too high
