Well yesterday the wife went to Chicago to see a play and left me home  and she only left me with one honey do. Start of a great day right...........
Work calls $%^##!!! get that worked out and then ride right .........
No stop at the store and come out bike wont start...
Battery takes charge quick so here we go again.
Ok I have not owned this on but a month!!!!

So Is there a better upgrade to the charging system then OEM?
Does riding style cause these to fry or just bad luck?

The charging problem I had before was my last VFR it over charged and cooked my batterie twice in 3 years.
I work so much i dont even have time to change the oil.
But I assume it is the regulator rectifier. I am taking it to my local dealership who has done good work for me so far. pretty fair for a small dealership.
But if there is a after market better part I will try it.

The stator and R/R from Honda have been improved. When you order a new stator it will require a different rotor as well, as the new one is 15mm larger. Just threw one in the trash yesterday.......will go dig it oot if you want it. I would replace the stator and R/R and put this behind you, but OEM is the way to go in my opinion.

Guess I will have to carry a extra battery and charger for work. But if you see a black one stopped after midnight on 90 west of Chicago after midnight pick me up I will need a ride to the bar.
