on my '04. Pretty straightforward. The plug tool from the kit worked, though I used a 10mm socket and wrench to turn it.

And from looking at the manual, I'd had no idea how LONG the coils were! Working the right rear out under the tank, I was beginning to wonder if I'd have to pull the tank. But it got done. And it starts and runs, and nothing stopped doing what it should, so looks like I missed doing anything to any wires.

16,000. The originals looked pretty good, but I figured if I was going to pull them, might as well go ahead and replace.

Were did you get your plugs at and how much were they? I think I paid 16 a piece a few years ago?

Oh yeah, I always put the old ones in the boxes and set them aside, just in case.

I wound up ordering them from Amazon for $10.49 each; nobody locally had four of them. And the bike shops were a lot more expensive. I like to buy from local shops if I can, but at several dollars each difference, can't afford not to order on something like this.
