    Hey guys, Im GeMs!

I have been scouring Craigslist for the last month looking for a 3rd gen to pick up!
I am in Connecticut, and was wondering if anyone knew anyone that was selling one
and could point me in their direction!

I want one SO bad :)

    Thanks!

How much are you looking to spend and how far are you willing to go to pick it up?

    Hey thanks for the response!

I would say probably 2-3 hours max. Maybe a little more for the "right" bike :)
And cost is all relative to the condition of the bike! Finding one in decent running condition
around here is getting hard to come by!

    Thanks again Rollin

Mine's for sale. I ONLY want $10K, cash, non sequential small bills.

I'm in Dallas. I WILL NOT meet anyone halfway, and that price does not include the hardbags, tankbags, extra sport exhaust, etc, etc.

On second thought, I'll keep it.

There's a reason they're hard to find, very popular.

Gems, welcome aboard from another in CT. I look on CL frequently and find that there is always someone selling a VFR in the New England area. Any reason to stay with a gen 3? And, are you looking for a particular year? Here are a couple of CL posts that I found (some of them seem pricy).

    91 Honda vfr
    1991 vfr 750
    1992 honda vfr 750
    1993 Honda vfr 750f
1991 Honda vfr 750 clean Philly is about 4 hours from New Britain.

Just something to think about though, the older the VFR, the harder parts are to come by. The major stuff I can still get, like engine parts, regulator/rectifier.... But fairing are difficult to obtain if you need them. I'm not saying impossible, just difficult (and sometimes expensive). Good luck and let me know if you need some other help. I'm in Colchester so it's not that far.

Hey thanks for the links! I did try to contact all of them except for the "ready to stunt" guy :p

The reason I want a third Gen is because I am in love with the RC30/45, and it seems this is as close
as ill get to owning one! The 8 spoke stands out to me, and even though it is a little porker compared
to the newer bikes, I plan on upgrading the suspension.

I have owned lighter and faster (Superhawk, 954rr) and currently a Drz470sm :), but the SSS and v4 are
    calling :)

Cool, just keep an eye on CL. I've been keeping tabs on CL for VFR's in the northeast and about every 2 weeks CL changes. Someone is always getting rid of one, and 3rd gens seem to pop up every so often. Good luck.
