    Hey guys, just wondering...

    A) What are the benefits (if any, really) of the stock folding pegs, as opposed to fixed pegs? My motorcycle experience is limited, so I don't really know myself...

    B) What options do us VF500 owners have for replacements? I see tons of aftermarket stuff all over the internet...I'm accustomed to buying cruiser parts, not sportbike parts. And "older" sportbike parts, at that.

Rigid pegs are far more likely to break the footpeg brackets they're mounted on in a tipover and cause more damage in a side-slide crash, imo.

Rigid is really a track only preference.

I fold my pegs up when i'm pushing the bike backwards also, dont have to worry about smacking my ankles that way. Cant do that with fixed pegs
