    Hi all,
Been a long time since I've been on the forum ever since I sold my 98 VFR few years ago. I'm looking at a 2002 VFR again, but it seems rating's not great on '02 model in particular? I'm wondering why. Could it be the first year 6th gen VFR suffers from many issues that have been sorted out on later year models? What issues should I look out for? Thanks

Okay, I now am a proud owner of 2002 VFR800A with little over 10K miles, mint condition. Negative reviews I've read are all without too much basis. Those criticisms are basically from being too anal on their analysis. VTEC kicking in mid-corner makes it unstable, blah blah. I think if they're riding that fast, they should get a full on race bike, not a sport tourer like VFR. VFR does everything I ask for with aplomb. Chain driven cams...I don't know if it is less reliable but I really don't care. They'll probably last longer than my ownership.
