Hi, just bought my first bike. A 1992 Honda VFR 750f. I have never been on a motorcycle, but I am taking the MSF course in few days. I made the mistake of buying the bike without researching it, but it was a steal of a deal. Got it for $2,000, and where I live (Anchorage, Alaska) that is a great deal for a nice running bike. Anyways, I began looking around for parts; I believe they are called fairings/cowlings, because I noticed (I think) the exhaust cover was missing. But I cannot find any on the web, or at least any kits like they have for other bikes. So I looked around on the forums and saw the website HONDA VFR750 1990-93, VFR 750 fairings, bodywork, fairing, upper, lower, mid, seat side, race, street, fender, tail, undertail, tank and that they sell the parts. Does anyone know any other places that I can buy these that are painted and stuff?

From the photos you cant see that the left side near the bottom it is cracked, the last owner glued it and painted over it :(

Welcome, and hope you enjoy the riding experience. Just my 2c worth of advice. No need to break your neck fixing up the bodywork just yet, chances are she still has a few drops coming her way. Learn to ride, then fix her up properly.
