Best Battery/Type/ect for 1994 vfr?

Hey guys i recently noticed my bike hasn't been holding a charge so after a few weeks of recharging it before rides ect im kinda fedup. I was wondering what is the highest quality and maybe medium quality type and what battery do i need for my 1994 vfr 750f. The battery i have has no info on it only a warning label and ive misplaced my manual.

There are all sort of batteries to look at, from Walmart to Batteries Plus (you can bring your old into BP and they'll tell you what you need). I think I bought an AGM type batter for $70 or something like that.

Get what your budget can afford. Whether you spend $40 or $120 on a battery, the important thing is that you maintain it by keeping it on a trickle charger when you're not using the bike.

And as always, you should check your charging and electrical system: connections, grounds, etc.. Check your R/R (regulator rectifier) to make sure its doing its job.

Anyone who owns a VFR needs to own a multi-meter. If you don't have one, get one on the way while you're getting your new battery.

Lighter - Beats me. Go weigh your OE battery.

There are a heap of the new LiPo batteries on ebay. Heaps smaller and lighter and hold their charge for 10 - 12 months! I use Lipo batteries in RC car racing and the technology is awesome. About $140USD
