Service Intervals on VFR 1200

How does the community feel about Hondas extended maintenance on the VFR 1200?
12K?? Are you guys sticking to that?
Sounds like a while between visits!!

 

if you want to keep your warranty you should stick with the plan...

 

i think you need to re read the maintenance schedule oil and filter every 8000 the only thing at 12K is brake fluid replacement air filter and brake pad inspection....vavle clearance at 16K along with spark plugs

 

Are you sticking with the 8K or going in sooner?

 

i've been doing my own oil changes (3K, why not, it's easy ) and final drive (each tire change ) replaced brake pads all around at 10k ( easy job too ) got a quote from a Honda dealer in NJ for $350 for valve clearance check, $100 more if any need adjusting FYI
