Why exactly do you have "VR" on it? Regardless it looks pretty good to me although I think I prefer a non-rounded top edge.

Looks real good so far. I like that you put on a bum pad by the looks of it. I assume you would supply in white so the end user could paint to suit his/her bike. How do you attach it to the back of the bike and seat? Is that an overhang on the back end of just photoshop? It should blend into the lines of the rear fender cowl for a more professional and finished look.

hahahahha, I got carried away with the text.....oooops, "VF" !!!! Yes, supplied in white gelcoat and people can paint it what ever they want. The first one I am doing is going to be Carbon Fibre...love that stuff. The "plug" is setting up as we speak, and I will have to modify it to meet the rear fender better.....will decide that when I pull the plug off....

I am thinking of attaching it to two brackets made to come out from under the seat and have it hinge forward to allow for storage underneath. It will be held down with a cam lock that locks onto the existing handle. The inner edge will have rubber bumpers to eliminate any vibration.

    Hi,

I have a brand new OEM cowl for an 84 VF500 if you are interested. It has never been fitted to a bike. I will post photos if you are interested.
