Hi all,Here is the deal I cant afford new pipes on this bike ,its costing me an arm and a leg and much overtime. Is there any way I can modify the exhaust and get good sound? I live in N.Y.C. where cagers drive crazy and dont care about us,so the need to here me. I think I can have a machine shop do work if I get suggestion (please only those that have done and gotten good results) will try. Thanks in Dire need of sound its matter of life and healthy riding.

Personally, I'm not a fan of gutting the stock exhaust, though many have done this just for the increase in noise level. A lot of work for just a sound improvement when you can get the benefit of a lighter exhaust with better sound, and a unique look by experimenting with different mufflers and the stock pipes. Here is one set I have done. I have a sound file in my gallery, also a photo of another system I made using the 2 fatter mufflers from a laser deeptone system.
