my first basically new vfr800

Went and looked at a red 2003 vfr800 with abs and fell in love. The bike has 4000 miles on it and was owned by an old man. The bike did not have one scratch or even a crushed bug in the front. Guy sold it to me for $4000! I cant wait to put some miles on this bike! You guys have a sweet forum and I'm gonna start sifting through what everyone has done.

Anything to look out for on these bikes?

That was one of the years affected by the factory recall for the wiring harness so check with the dealer to make sure it was done. Welcome aboard!

Hey thanks ill have it checked out. It has an alarm on it and he says it will drain the battery after sitting for a few days. I'm gonna get the recall checked and the wiring of the alarm. He is including a battery tender with it. I didn't take any pictures yet but the ad is still posted so check it out before he removes it.
