New to forum, saying hello

Hi all.

I just registered. I'm looking for a '06-'09 VFR800, and am looking forward to learning lots. I've been lurking here for awhile, and thought I might as well join in the fun. I just tried to go look at a 2007 Non-ABS model with 1,400 miles on it. But, in true Craigslist fashion, the seller flaked. He wants $7500 for it, but I think I can probably do better.

Whereabouts do you live? There are tons of deals out there, much better than the 07 you saw. It seems like a lot of the deals I've seen recently have been on the Eastern half of the US, but with the right type of searching I'm sure you'll find something worth checking out. The key is to be patient. I found mine on a whim and I paid @$7,500.00 (+tax/lic fees) last year for my 09 and it had only 346 miles on it! It didn't even reach the break in milage and the guy traded it in. His loss was my gain!

I've seen a few on CL - but one is way up in Northern CA, or out in Vegas. I live in Sherman Oaks, CA.

LOL. Well, the guy with the '07 just left my house. He's pretty firm on price, and I think he wants too much... We'll see what happens this weekend!
