Headed south tomorrow to Laconia,NH Will stay there until Saturday the 16th and then head Down East for a 6 day road trip to and around Nova Scotia. Life is Good! :smokin:
Im confused...Im from Southern NH originally...you are coming south to Laconia (so you must be pretty far up in the White Mts) and then EAST to Nova Scotia? I guess it is sort of dead east, but you obviously plan on going north a ways to get there or are you taking a ferry or something?
eightangrybears, In days of old when there were no roads and the people of New England traveled the sea's . When one was headed up the coast to Maine and on to Nova Scotia you were headed Down East.
Ahhhh....I see. I think my confusion stems from my brother always saying he was going to "come down and see me" when he lived in PA and I in NH. I read too much into it...looks like a great route! Especially during a New England summer!
