i was impressed with it and me being a ex road racer..guy i know has a cb1 400 four with 9k mi 1989...i rode that and wow.instant speeding ticket...naked bike..this bike the cbr400rr has gear driven cams like the vfr,s..just neat from jaypan..gregg

 

kinda beating the snot out of it on the road test no? I remember the CB1 here, it barely sold, seen them in Japan as well, saw those cbr400 and lotsa Rothman Honda replica 250 2 strokes and 400s...the real turd of a bike was the bandit 400, complete garbage.

Yeah i noticed he was running the crap out of the bikes...id hate to get spares for the 2 cyl 2 stroker..i woulda like to have seen the speedo work on the 400..he had to be doing 125..and sounded like he had 8 gears..lol..all close ratio to boot..yep for 5 grand id rather have a duck..just thought it was interesting to see a oddball bike on ebay....gregg in ohio
