LA CO and Orange CO riders

Doh! I had the intention of joining this morning and I even woke up extra early. I figured I get up at 5AM and catch the MotoGP, eat breakfast hang out for an hour before heading out to meet up. Right after the race I thought, I'll just close my eyes for a few minutes...I end up waking up close to 8AM and the wife was already making breakfast.

I thought about trying to catching up but I didn't want to ditch the wife since breakfast was almost done and I was too far behind to even make it anyway. Maybe next time. The good part is the wife wants me to take her for a ride today so we'll be taking a short ride somewhere later this afternoon.

More likely the VFR. Still have the fluctuating idle issue on the Duc. I'll confirm later this evening, but pretty sure it'll be the VFR.

 

Still waiting to hear back from VIFFER06 if he will be joining us or not.

 

I thought it over and rode the Duc a little today and I think it'll be fine for tomorrow, so I'll be on the 900SS.

Yep, great ride today. Good meeting you guys (Heath and Dan). Gotta say, OOTVS (Daryl) is a whole different animal on that Duc... I kinda pitty the fact that he didn't get to show off his skilz at R3 due to riding 2 up the whole time.

Here's the raw footage taken on Sunday's ride with the GoPro. This has not been edited and the sound is terrible so breakout your favorite tune(s) and listen to that instead. Really bummed Josh, the last half of the ride we did on the narrow road didn't get filmed. Ran out of memory on the SD Card, I thought I had deleted my "test" videos, but apparently I didn't! Got about 49 seconds on the last run and then it shut off. That was the best part of the ride too!

Really bummed about not getting the last part of the ride recorded, that's when we were keeping a good pace too. Ironically, the built in memory of the camera is supposed to be 16GB, as opposed to the 4GB SD card that was in there, but I need a USB cable to transfer the videos off of the camera, so until then that memory is useless. I put in a support ticket to GoPro to see where I can obtain the USB cable. They don't seem to have many accessories listed on their website for the standard definition cameras, just the HD ones.
