This could generate a new line of Tshirts that say " The bitch didn't fall off and she bought me this." ;)

On London's Tube have to agree with you, while working 3 weeks in my then companies London office Jan / Feb '02 found the Tube fantastic to get around on. Travelling from my Hotel in Islington to our Docklands office each day was like Teleporting with a train pulling up to whisk you away as you stepped off each escalator.

The only fly in the ointment being a shock 5pm train drivers strike and after alighting the still running DLR forced me to trek 1 and 1/2 hrs by foot across Londons CBD in that nights cold drizzle with only a cartoon like tourist map guiding me from land mark to land mark, still it was an experience and being a new one found I was in much better spirits than most Londoners walking around and felt deserving of the deep fried Camembert with cranberry sauce I'd ordered for dinner that night.

Switzerland. Although what actually constitutes the "densest railway network in the world" is a subject of much debate Switzerland is right there at the top, if not #1.

It also has one of the the best on-time records in the world, second only to Japan I think.

I've never done Schweiz, umm, Suisse, by rail. She Who Must Be Obeyed assures me that it's excellent. Christmas in the Alps!

We offically have the busiest station in the world at Clapham Junction. My station has train through it every 2 minutes during morning and evening peak times
