Another great event! Thank you Reg and Teri for all your hospitality; that couch was a lot better than the tent! Thank you also for the first responders on Sunday morning; don't know where the heck that came from!

After an extra day with my family in Morro Bay I headed home with the wife following closely behind. (Sorry you didn't get a chance to meet her!) By the time I reached Gilroy I could barely swing my leg over the bike. When I reached home I knew it was time to park the bike for a few days but I don't regret a minute!

Tink, OOTVS; you two were brave bringing the wives for the full event. I hope marrib and his obnoxious wine drinking didn't scare them away. It was great seeing all the old attendees and new faces. I don't have many pictures this time so I'll let others post up to make all the wussies that didn't come jealous. If you have the time to make it next year you have no excuse not to come!

Just got back to Lompoc after ravishing the wife for a couple days(haven't seen her for a few weeks). Gimme a few and I'll post up what I got.

Also look for my high mount exhaust write up!

    OK, here we go.
This weekend we were graced with the presence of Legends. True legends of VFRW history. I got to see them. Touch them. Hear them. It actually brought tears to my eyes.

First: Scratch. The noble steed of our esteemed Sir Reginald of 71. She got a new coat and was de-dumboed and fitted with integrated mirrors.

Second: The Supercharged 6th Gen. The Ripper of Fingers and Strainer of Necks! Toe Cutter's ride.

And the Belle of the Ball: The 5th & a 1/2 Gen!!!! Tink's bike was truly a site to behold. Greatness! It ran, rode, handled, sounded, and felt like everything the two generations had to offer. Great Job, Dave!

Now I saved a personal favorite for last. This bike began as a mere white 6th Gen. It was given many visual farkles, but the original owner sought to create a VFR like no other. He spent nearly 4 years researching, collecting parts, refining what Honda had put out before him. Money was no object. He practically did not rest until it was complete. And then it was. He had accomplished everything he set out to do. Some of which is chronicled elsewhere on this forum.
Realizing he could not ride her enough to get out everything he had put in to it, he passed her on to one who would.
JTC brought her to R3 for us to witness with our own eyes. THIS is Norcalboy's VFR. I think she is the greatest VFR ever built.

All in all it was a great weekend. New folks to meet. All the great roads were ridden. No mechanical issues. One little bruise from a tank slapper that was recovered from. A scuffed radiator. And a bunged up right side from a stand still drop.

    A success.

Some ancient ritual is taking place here. Something is sacrificed. I do believe it's the participant's sobriety

As you can plainly see, the ritual is working.

An alternate ending had Bweiss turning into a red-eyed devil

He's smiling because his hands are not really in the hoodie pouch. Don't judge, he hasn't seen his wife in weeks.

Thanks for the praises. It was through generous contributions of many members here at VFRW that the bike was possible.
