Really? To have a shop paint it is about $150. I've never seen a really nice stock cowl for sale. If I did I'm sure it would cost a way more than $150.

All my plastic pieces have problems.

    paint would be over 150

i priced some red paint for a set of lowers for my 86 vf500 and paint was 150 plus labor ..paint is not reasonable anymore..and the pearl will be a 3 step process...and id have to have it computer color matched..the bike was PERFECT till i did what i did..it really made my day as a 10k mi all complete one owner bike..guess im getting to old to hold the thing up..shoulder surgery in one arm and a scheduled surgery in the other shoulder comming up soon..so to get my kicks on route 66 i got a 92 cbr600f2 ..now that i can wheel around in the shop easily and give me a really good buzz on a ride..saves my vfr,s from damage ..im a ex roadracer and still havent slowed down and im 60 yrs old..gregg

That's my case as well. :embarassed:  !!!!!

It's best to consider that you're married to your fairings for life and it's your responsibility for any necessary repairs. It's hard after a crash to think of picking up every single bit of plastic, but you're going to need it when you glue your shit back together.
