Hello all. I am a fairly new vfr owner. I have had my 03 for a year (9,000 miles). I started looking for luggage and was dissapointed with the lack of affordable options. A buddy of mine does metal fabricating in his free time. He said he could build a rack to fit. After an evening, a 12 pack and a $99 Pelican 1500 case we had it mounted up. I haven't seen one quite like this, so I though I should share it with you all. He is going to clean up the welds and have it powdercoated next week. If any of you have custom luggage, I would love to see it. I am very happy with it.

    :welcome:

    Good lookin rack :high5:
My only concern with that particular design is, there is nothing to support weight outside of the welds & the material used. I would watch the weight load I put on it, & keep an eye on it for signs of stress.

    Well, that's pretty slick, too.
