had it parked in the garage the pulled the 86 vf500 on its left side..uuhhh u never mount a horse on the wrong side..grabbed the vf700f,s handle bars tried to pull it up off the side stand from the right side it rolled forward and fell on the vf500 not a scratch on vf500 ,the vf500 rh foot peg punched a hole on the left front 700 cowling didnt scratch anything else on the 700 and didnt do anything on the vf500 my wife and i struggled to pick it up we are old im 61 shes 59..on heavy puppy damn i dropped the full coverage on the bike last policy renewal..this thing was scratch and crack free pearl white with 9300 mi on it..cost more to paint it than get another one..sooooooo keep ur eyes open for a 87 vfr700f2 front cowling thats nice, pearl white, could knock out the indetation and put a hrc decal pver it...i dont think i should ride this week bad karma is around me..fell off a loading ramp on the mc trailer missed the ramp stepping off the trailer backwards fell down arm folded to my side and yepper popped a rib ..shure hurts to sneeze or laugh..bad week..im gonna give up..and take a vacation on a sandy beach with nothing to trip over..gregg in ohio........ill probly drown in 6 inches of water..

you are so fired.... how dare you ruin a mint condition VFR......Just kidding dude sorry to hear about your luck....

sounds like my last two days... yesterday I got two tickets... haven't had a ticket in over 15 years.... a no seatbelt and no proof of insurance (long story ) I do have insurance but the DMV says my policy is cancelled... spent an hour on the phone with my insurance company to straighten it out and another hour with the DMV.... then got stopped tonight by the state troopers for "talking on my imaginary cell phone....Cell phone was in my left front pocket.... as wella sgot hassled by the Canadian Border patrol for "importing" armor antiquities.. that took 50 questions and a vehicle search to straighten out.....

good luck on the rest of your week... get to a chiropractor and get your rib head put back in place....

i should be fired...but luckily it didnt touch anythingelse on either bike ..all i could imagine was dented fuel tanks busted side panels..the vf500 only has 7100 mi on it,,then i had the gonads to test ride a 1932 harley davidson mod b 350cc single side valve id been working on for a guy..well i had a successful short ride ..LH foot clutch,Lh tank shift ,front brake on the lh handlebar..and no throttle reurn spring assist. with a lh twist grip timing advance for the engine..talk about multitasking..?????????? i figured since i wrecked everything in the garage i might as well try to ride the harley...and break my neck. did ok..smoked like hell but hey its old..by god my back hurts..maybe a ct90 step thru would be more for me..i need to fix my fairing and stay home this weekend and get real stinkin drunk ,,and i dont drink so it wont take much a six pack should do it..im still in a state of disbelief..this am..later have a nice weekend,,gregg

well removed the cowling both front head lite bucket locating studs are broken off and the subframe is tweaked..i think i can reapair the bucket studs but ill probly be looking for a front sub frame ..it got shifted of to the right..other than the cowling getting punched thats all the body damage it got.mirrors are ok and the turn signals are ok..i feel lucky about that...dont know if a 86 subframe is the same or not..the instrument cluster is totally diffrent than the 86 mine is a 87 ..seenem on ebay before...im still sick at my stomache about it..but life goes on....time to step back and start at the 10 yd line and go forward...gregg in ohio
