Hey I am new to VFRworld! I just bought an 84 vf700f and I'm trying to figure out what other brands would fit the bikes front end. I want to put a single round headlight and smaller cluster on it but I don't want to waste money on parts that wont fit right. I'm also looking for a website to buy new carbs from along with a new stator and voltage regulator...without spending a small fortune! Can anyone help me out with this?

Also is there anyone is the Nampa Boise, ID. area that could/would be willing to help me with modding/fixing my bike? I've had a little experience with bikes but not enough to comfortably do what needs to be done to my bike. Any help would be much appreciated!

Just found this post, u still around? Still planning on the streetfighter job?

My winter project will be dumping the front end for a round headlight on my 85' vf700f. My biggest hold up is trying to figure which speedometer / tach to use.

This is exactly what i want to do! With my 92 vfr 750. I plan on keeping the tail section intact for now (I'm going for a cafe/steampunk look on it). I'm set on getting a 7" round headlight but not sure what gauges to get..
