And here is the stupid thermostat that was boiling the water in the tank. The temp doesn't even get past the first notch now even if I let it idol for a long time. It was the thermostat that I originally started taking off the fairings for and I was wondering what everyone else thinks?

Here is my sisters rental. They took her other one in a repossession kinda way an had to make it up to her when we started getting mad. She got this one and the cheapest price that charge too.

And here is a future VFR owner. My nephew showing off his little league outfit telling me that his dad is getting him a motorcycle and we can go riding together. He is such a trooper.

I have to vote for with fairings unless you relocate the gauges and put a round headlamp on.

I agree, naked bikes almost always win, but in this case it looks kinda weird with everything kinda hanging out there.

I will try it a while. But I have some welding to do, because the mounts are broken. Later I might put them back on.

I put them back on. It seems more natural. Although I did reweld the broken mounts together again. I took the fairings off because they rattled and shook around a bit. After the welding I put them back on they don't shake at all. It seems better and I like them with the fairings. Now if I could just figure out what to do about that old head light look? Any ideas?
