86 vf 500 for sale

I will be selling a 1986 honda vf 500 it has a clean title. 24,000 miles. some body damage, a brand new honda oem clutch $300s, and comes wiht an extra set of rims

 

'scuse me brovva, do it run ?? And do it have any glamour photos ??

Is there any conceivably rational possible chance that it could or maybe might run at any time in the near future as far as you know ?? Can you see daylight between the left side and right of the engine block ? A pool of oil or coolant under the bike ?? A fine VF500 project at that low price is a great opportunity for a rescuer preservationist with unbelievable luck and a fat wallet.

On the other hand, it looks like a fine, nicely priced organ donor for the few to whom the VF500 might be their ride of choice on any warm summer day and want to preserve the legendary Honda legacy in the noblest tradition.

If it runs, you should KEEP THAT BIKE !!!

You have no idea how rare a good-running VF500 is, and i see a future where VF500 engines with a documented history of actually running at any time in the last 10 years, good compression, and less than 10,000 miles could fetch a handsome price sold to the two dozen guys who still want to commit to keeping VF500s on the road after so many years, bless 'em !
