Got the new to me VFR home now and can't wait for the rain to stop to get out riding again. Been away from motorcycles for awhile and waited till I found the VFR that I wanted. Really enjoying reading all the posts on here and learning more about these awesome bikes.

Looks great! I see the back rack for a touring trunk and mounts for side cases - did it come with the factory hardbags too? White isn't the fastest color, but it's not bad

Congratulations. I love the White / Black color scheme that you guys got in Canada. What are the details? Any modifications or are you looking to do some?

Always happens when you get a new bike. Ater I got mine, it p*ssed down here for about 3 months, then I got desperate & just rode in the rain. Believe me, those white wheels are mongrels to clean. Interesting how your rack has turned it into a huge grab rail, at least your pillion will have no excuse for not hanging on. Funny, we don't get the tri RW&B & the US don't get the B&W? & the Euro graphics where always different to US on the CBR's. Watch out for the black paint on the tank, scratches very easily, so get some protection pads. You've got summer coming so enjoy.

Thanks for the welcomes. The bike did come with the factory side hardbags, but not the top case. The bike is straight stock and has just over 5000 kms and comes from a guy who took great care of the bike, he told me if I am selling it to call him and he would buy it back. I loved the black and white color scheme from the first time I saw it but the previous owner did warn me about keeping the white rims clean. Beautiful morning here today so the new VFR and I are heading off to work.

Damn that looks good. As said many times before, I usually don't love the white, but it looks DAMN good on the VFR, especially in two tone with black...WELCOME!

VERY NICE:rockon:. I really like that two tone paint. Think maybe I'll do that with my red VFR. Black stripe on top of tank and cowl and the black on the bottom of both fairings. :thumb:

Put the bike up on the centerstand and once you get a routine down, you can clean the rims up pretty quickly. I can have mine looking like new again after just 10-15 minutes. The way they look on the bike is well worth the time invested.

What I have done is I have used a spray called Spray Clean And Polish ( By Original Bike Spirits ) that I buy at Honda, Cycle Gear ALSO CARRIES IT. Always clean bike , spray and wipe off and dirt wipes right off. Great to clean visors too. OK :boobies5:

I don't understand why people say wheels are hard to clean. - I soak a rag with petrol and wipe my wheels with it. Takes all of 5 minutes.
