I'm 23 and got my 98' VFR last summer. This winter has been the longest EVER. I want to get back on the bike so bad, I was considering taking it out this past weekend when it was 42 and sunny. Then I thought about the salt, dirt, chemicals and possible ice. That changed my mind rather quickly.

I'm 25 and just started riding my 92 vfr750F. I have a 86 CB700C Nighthawk also, but the VFR pretty much replaced it. I live in Southern California so its riding season all year around.

I'm 25 and alot of guys my age are attracted to the cookie cutter CBR, ZX, GSXR,YZFR, and the latest hot sport bike. In most cases, financing a bike that will decrease in value once rolling off the lot. I wanted a motor bike that would be comfortable, get good mileage, and preform when pushed. The VFR fitted that category when I ran into it during a simple search for a Bandit 600. Then I found out the VFR is reliable and a man in the U.K logged over 3xx,xxx miles on one motor using regular Mobile 1 for cars. I also found that the VFR has a long history of nothing but successful and positive reviews from numerous riders and magazines through its production from the late 80's until 96. I made my choice after my CB700sc nighthawk started gasping for life: a 92 VFR750F. Is it fast? I wouldn't know, but all I know is that now I know why the bike is admired by so many for so many years and for those who sold their VFR's wish they never had.

haha I am kinda the same way people my age (25) tend to like the crotch rockets but cant see the reason in owning a bike that can do 220mph ( insanse to even try 120 on a bike ) and your back hurts in like 2 hours of riding. I got my vf750 honestly as a hold over just to get me riding again but was plesently suprised by the ride feel and power of a bike this old. when the time comes I WILL be getting a moto guzzi Griso 8v my fav all time bike but the vfr is right up there next to it in my book.

28 yrs old...5th gen. I kind of fell into the vfr a few months ago. Was shopping around for a bike, street bike of course..saw this one for sale and started reading about it. Had some older guys down at the Honda shop telling me they know the seller and they know the bike and they said its a great machine. I really liked the look and the test drive - then started to have the attitude that I didnt need a zx6 or 900rr, which were also on the used market at the time. Im super happy with the purchase and really want a vfr 750 at some point in my life cause they look siick!
