    Hello,

I seen a Full lower fairing for the 1st. Gen. on E-bay a couple days ago (I don't think it sold), & I am really concidering purchasing it, if it is re-listed.
If memory is correct? He had a Buy it now for 275.00
Is such a fairing worth the price?
Should I do it, or should I leave the Ole-Girl alone?

Thanks in advance for your input!

It's all a matter of personal preference Paul. Personally, one of the reasons I like bikes is that you can see most of the mechanicals. My tastes run more toward lean, stripped down machines as opposed to the fully faired sport bikes.
If you're asking for opinions, I have opined

In 1984, I put one on my '83 V45. It looked so cool mostly because bikes weren't faired at the time. I wanted it to look like a GP bike. It got a lot of compliments in '84. Decades later, especially with a bike in such nice shape as yours, I would probably leave it off. To find one in good stock condition is rare and unlike signals, shields, or seats, that lower is a pretty large aftermarket statement. But as Pops said, personal taste, your bike your move and don't let anyone tell you different. My 2 cents.

I have a set of Lockhart lowers if your interested. Better price than the others. Red color. Not perfect but solid. Let me know if you want to look at them.
