I've owned exactly 1 white vehicle out of the many I've had. I hate white and will never own one again. No matter what you do, the vehicle looks dirty 5 minutes after you wash it. That's just one person's opinion.

    KC-10 FE out...

I've seen 2 white VFR's, both in the showroom. Wow, gorgeous... surrounded in a beam of natural sunlight and the choir singing quietly in the background....:music: If the price is to your liking, and you really want the bike in that color (more than just living with it), buy it.

Like KC just said, ya gotta wash it a lot to keep it looking clean, but you'd be doing the same with a black bike too. I've had 4 or 5 white cars in the past; guess I just can't stay away from white.

Personally, I like my red VFR the best!

It's all about what you like brother. The only opinion that counts is the one riding. Personally, I'm with you. I love the look, white with red decals and I might would add a little something from the group at www.tapeworks.com . I do concur that white is hard to keep clean. Have owned several white vehicles along with a current Z71 and never had a major problem keeping them clean, to be honest I didn't have to wash them any more often than my burgundy car or victory red xtreme. It just seemed to show dirt a little quicker upon close inspection. But again, I reiterate, if that's the color you dig, and the deal is good, it's all you brother.

    Whites allright

    White looks allright.

Ive been complimented several times about the colour of my bike though.
It doesnt show the dirt too much.
I love the retro scheme. If i ever got one, id powdercoat the wheels white.
Although, they take a bit of cleaning - white wheels.

well, red is faster, but white is okay. ;) seriously, though, I think red is the best color for vehicles if you don't want to wash them all the time. I have a red ford p/u a red chevy tahoe and a red VFR. I wash all of them once a year whether they need it or not.

It is all up to you. I don't particularly like white but it is still a sweet ride.

I think the white is sharp. Especially when its out in the sun and the metal flake shows. If I were ready to get my VFR last year it would have been white I think. I have a black car now and its torture. The nice thing about the white is it hides small swirl marks..... pretty forgiving in that respect.

I used to be sold on red cars and bikes - still like them. I perfer white now and have no problem keeping a white vehicle clean. I have had two white Mercury Mountaineers, and now have a white Towncar. I am looking for a used White van and I am not worried about keeping it clean. White does get dirty, but I had more trouble keeping my black car and black bikes clean (swirl marks and scratches are so visable). If you clean it good and use some wax it is not hard to keep a white car or bike clean. Anway, how long would it take to wipe a bike down - the secret is not to let it get filthy. I have a 2k Yellow VFR that gets dirty quickly and I can wipe it down in about 10 - 15 minutes. I wash my 2k VFR maybe once a month and use wax to protect it from dirt and the elements. Bottom line the White 2006 VFR is a very nice looking bike that cars will easily see - too bad it has a VTEC engine ;0) .

Well, since I bought a white VFR, you can guess my opinion. Personal opinion, the best colors for cars and motorcycles are 1) white 2) dark blue 3) dark red w/metallic flake

I've had white, black, red, green, light blue, dark blue, champagne, grey, charcoal, and silver colored cars. They all require washing, waxing, and other sorts of attention on a regular basis. In my opinion they all "look dirty" equally fast, except in specific circumstances. I.e. Champagne hides yellow pollen really well. Black hides road tar real well. Silver and Grey make road grime a little harder to see but only for a day or two, but get some of that yellow pollen on there and you're breaking out the wash bucket.

Get the color you want and if you want it to look clean, wash it. :)

I live in the arm pit of CA called the central valley and 2 seconds after you wash your car/bike/house, it's covered in a layer of dirt. I purposely bought a white 06. let me say that the Honda spray cleaner polish is the greatest thing in the world because it does it's job well and it has a "anti-static" property to it and if you want to dust it off, a dry towel will get the bike dust free in less than a minute. It makes being lazy easy with a white bike.

The only time my bike gets a wash is when it's at the dealer for a service.

I might as well add my 2 cents... When I finally got my viffer up and running it was pink, flourescent green, gray and red. I was all set to ride it as is. But the Matallic Cobalt Blue was the way to go for me!! It's all about the ride.....and price. My advice is if the price is one you can't pass up, color don't matter.
