Looks good! I scored an extra 8-spoke a scored a few weeks back for my 6th Gen and it's getting ready to go for blasting/powdercoat. So what prep was needed for the front wheel prior to powdercoat? Did the shop remove the bearings for you or did you have to do it yourself? Do most powdercoaters also do sand/media blasting or is it better/cheaper to get it done separate??

i took mine in completely bare... bearings, rotors, tires and valve stems all removed. i couldnt see a powdercoater not having blasting capabilities. i was charged 50 per wheel blasted and coated and they did a damn fine job!!!

you would think they could tape over where the wheel bearings where. Valve stem, I would remove and replace with a nice metal one.

be sure to have them keep the powder off where the bearings insert and where the rotors mount

They look great. I had the black rims on my '07 done white a couple of years back and they said that they did not need to be sandblasted. They said the powdercoat would stick to the stock rims as they were. So far they've been holding up great and haven't had any issues.
