The throttle wheel partialy returns causing the idle to be at 3k rpms. I use a screwdriver to return it to the start and it drops to around 1300 rpms. It is missing throttle cable "B" and the throttle switch start/stop housing is broken where you screw throttle cable "B" into it. Is this what is causing the the throttle wheel to partially return or what else can cause the throttle wheel to not fully return? Does anyone have pictures of how the throttle cables are suppose to be connected to the carburetors? I am also looking for a throttle cable "B" and the throttle switch start/stop housing, if anyone has some to spare. Thanks!

Either insufficient free play (cable adjusted too tight), sticky cable (unlikely), or improper cable rouiting, or excess friction between plastic throttle tube and the handlebar.

So you are missing a throttle cable entirely? I could see that as causing an issue - but not completely.

The throttle closes due to the return spring on the carbs. So if it's not closing all the way I'd say the existing throttle cable / tube is the issue. Needs to be cleaned lubed and made sure it's routed properly and not binding up.

iv had issues with the throttle twist grip not returning all the way closed if u remove the top u will see the plastic bottom is deformed so the throttle cable unit will not go completely closed a excacto knife will clean up the groove the throttle so it will go to the bottom ..u will see the problem when u take it apart..gregg in ohio

Alright, I cleaned out the starter kill switch assembly and the throttle grip pipe it had grease and dirt. I put it back together and started it up. When I roll the throttle and let it go the throttle wheel returns fine but when I roll it and return it with my hand the throttle wheel returns partially. When looking at the carbs from the top where does throttle cable "A" attach to? Does it attach to the top or bottom of the throttle cable bracket? Yes it only has throttle cable "A" and it's missing throttle cable "B".
