Hi folks, Paul here from NSW, Australia
I'm a long-time rider, but I've just bought my first VFR, a '95 750 with just 79,990 kms on the clock, and not ridden at all for the last two years.
(MY brother has just bought his 5th VFR, incidentally )
My last bike was a Honda 600 Hornet, 1998 model, with that tragic 16" front wheel, so I'm enjoying the 17" front wheel feel and the V4 pulse.
The bike has a Ventura rack, and an Australian-made Staintune high muffler; definitely a nice sound echoing off the walls of my local mountain pass!
I'm also a member under the same username of ozvfr.net in Australia
Anyway, enough of the blather, I'm off to browse the technical forum and bone up on my new toy!

hah, beat you to it, I was changing my avatar while you were posting your message :)

Yes, I fully expect to get plenty of miles out of this bike; I bought my Hornet in '05 with 54,790 kms on it and sold it last month with 177,000 kms!

We didn't get them here either! The bike was originally red, but the previous owner got bored with that, so he got some blue Honda paint and got it re-sprayed; the giggle for me is that the blue is Candy Hawaiian Blue, which is exactly the same colour as my old Hornet was!!!
