Thought id stop in and introduce myself. After doing a little of bike research, I determined the VFR800 was the bike for me. I'm a bigger guy, 6'4" 230 and the bike fits me more than any other I sat on. Friday I purchased a red 2005 VFR800 with 9500 miles, my first bike ever. 3 days and 350 miles later I can honestly say I feel I made the right choice!

I am also a bigger guy 6' 4" 240, and I feel much more comfortable on my bike than most of the others I have ridden. I have ridden lots of other bikes and none of them feel like my vfr. Welcome to the site there is lots of information to be had on this site, and good people enjoy the new ride. Also post up some pictures

    Congrats and welcome aboard.

At 6' 2' and 240, I find it to be a comfortable bike. My back is a bit jacked up, but I can still manage 350 to 400 miles a day without being crimped for the next day. You'll enjoy it.

If its any consolation, I have every intention of a paint job later down the road. It has some scratches from being dropped previously and I would really like for it to match my Harley F-150 (metallic black).
