No engine mods. I think it has Honda St1300 battery.

Maybe? I'll have to see how easy it is to kick a kick stand when shifiting.

No reason to do it going up through the gears. No real reason on the street to do it either! In theory, if say, you were coming up on a traffic light, you were in fifth gear, you could get the bike slowed down with the brakes and then get into second if your the kinda guy that wants to count down shifts. At that point, you could masterfully let the clutch out in say, Second Gear and of-course have the right RPMs, and you would be ok in theory. Maybe then the light turns GREEN, at that point, you may have to go into first gear, because second is'nt that great to take off from when your kinda crawling.

In racing, I have known two stroke racers that would go into a turn, have brake markers already, and just pull the clutch in and bang the gear shifts without letting the clutch out until appropriate gear for that particular corner. Its hair-ball really and not done by most racers, racer that I knew that did this ended up in the hospital after he screwed up on his count for down-shifting....MORAL??? Use each gear and down shift with letting the clutch out!

I went out yesterday and skipped gears going up, from first to third, from second to sixth. No shut off, just shitty performance. I also downshifted by skipping gears. Nothing untowards happened, except I missed the sound of the motor. :)
