    Hello,

I was hoping to find a couple of the correct screws that hold the side covers to the frame. Does anyone have a few extras they would sell, or does anyone know a source to locate them?

I am sure they interchange with other Honda's from the era

    Thanks

aviation stores have a big selection/ could also try looking at Cury-Girls ebay sight. I know she has kits and other shtuff...

me loves dah way my mid fairings come off with dem D-Zusess/literally it takes more time to open the drawer and take out the screw driver than it takes to remove the mids.

The name of the screws are called PANEX fasteners. They are different from DZUS fasteners.

Anyone have a source for the ones that hold the fairings to the cowl?
I don't think they are available any more.

I just picked up 2 of these upper fairing fastners at my local Ducati dealer. It turns out they were used on several factory bikes up into recently and are still used on their race bikes. It's a size 6x14, comes with a plastic washer and the spring clip that attaches to the fairing and are $3 a piece. I got the D ring style in silver finish (black is also an option) then just removed the D ring part.

Here are 2 of my stock Panex fasteners.

Now here are the Ducati ones.

They are not as shiny as the chrome, but they will do.

I didn't check on the bigger fasteners that hold the side covers on, but it's worth checking as they might have that size, too.

I just ordered 6 fasteners for $18 (free shipping) from AGG Racing.

    I'm liking the D ring look. :)
