Hey everyone. So I got some more work done on my VFR crash project this weekend. A friend helped me and we spent a good two hours heating and re-shaping the front fairing stay and we welded a broken part of it back together...

I went to mock up my replacement fairings and I noticed a huge, gaping hole in the front fairing where the turn signals go! Is there are cheap(ish) aftermarket option? I know the typical little flush mount signals are too small to fit there, and I can't find any turn signals on eBay... what do you suggest?

    Thanks!

crap. I just threw my old ones away last week. I don't know of a cheap way. They are very VFR specific. I assumed you were talking about the 5th gen 98-02 since that's what I ride, but you never said, did you? What year VFR do you need them for?

I cut a cardboard piece to fit, then used it to stencil onto ABS, then I used dremel to cut out ABS, then I taped it into place and used plastifix to 'weld' it in. Then I had it sanded/painted. At that point you can use whatever replacement type you like.

Mine's a 2001... thanks for the tip. Maybe I'll try what you said. Like you said, they are very specific (and huge!).

I have a left side blinker that I was planning to put on ebay.

I fiberglassed over my blinker holes and went to LED blinker mirrors.

I have a pair of 5G turn signals. Not the greatest shape but they can be yours for CHEAP.
