just got this bike for cheap.. low miles and good body.. the suspension is suspect and will be worked on. For some reason it will only stay on if i have it choked..if i rev it up high and turn the choke off it will run until i let the rps drop and then it dies... any idea why?

Is the petcock on? I left mine on off once since it's covered by the tank cover that came with the bike and it did pretty much what you're describing, until i realized it and turned the fuel back on...

Make sure there is plenty of fuel in the tank. If its set to MAIN, but the gas is below that level, it will "choke out" like you describe.

I would also consider the float levels not set correctly. If the bike ever took a hard hit, or someone installed a jet kit, that would be a simple adjustment to correct.
